Production: Pay: $17 - $20ph
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 5:30am - 4pm, overtime as needed on Fridays
Location: Two Rivers, WI We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join a local manufacturing company in Manitowoc County as a General Production Worker. This position will assist with the production and finishing of wood products, including sanding and general material handling. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has good attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Job Duties- Sand wood products and components by hand and/or using sanding equipment to create a smooth, quality finish.
- Inspect wood pieces for defects or imperfections and ensure products meet quality expectations.
- Handle, move, stack, and organize wood materials and finished products throughout the production area.
- Assist with various stages of the production and finishing process as needed.
- Use basic hand tools and production equipment as trained.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Previous manufacturing, woodworking, sanding, construction, or general labor experience is helpful, but not required.
- Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on work throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around wood dust, tools, and production equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, reaching, and other physical production tasks.
