Work Environment
This role will be based onsite in our outpatient office in Fort Myers, a vibrant community known for its beautiful beaches and diverse culture. The 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, allows for a balance between professional responsibilities and personal life, emphasizing well-being and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients referred by physicians, formulating and implementing personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs.
- Utilize evidence-based methodologies to provide high-quality therapeutic interventions, tailoring techniques to individual patient scenarios in areas such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure an integrated approach to care delivery.
- Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and home exercise programs to foster independence and improve outcomes.
- Strive to meet established utilization goals and other business objectives, contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the clinic.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, demonstrating competency through the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in an outpatient setting, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Current CPR certification to ensure a safe therapeutic environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective patient interactions and team collaboration.
- Proficiency in word processing and computer applications to maintain accurate patient records and facilitate communication.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with a variety of patient populations, especially in outpatient orthopedic settings.
- Background in evidence-based treatment techniques, ensuring practiced knowledge aligns with current best practices in the field.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with patients and caregivers, promoting a motivating environment for recovery.
Compensation and Benefits
