Key Responsibilities
- You will conduct thorough evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for patients referred by physicians, ensuring alignment with individual health goals.
- Implement diverse treatment methodologies across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, to address a wide range of patient needs.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and establish strong therapeutic relationships that empower patients to achieve their functional goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes using evidence-based interventions.
- Provide skilled therapeutic care both in the clinic and, where necessary, via home visits, applying tailored procedures consistent with physician directives.
- Educate and support patients and their caregivers, enhancing their understanding of treatment plans and promoting proactive engagement in their rehabilitation process.
- Meet or exceed utilization goals and contribute positively to the operational objectives of the facility.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our client base encompasses a diverse range of individuals requiring rehabilitation services, including those recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, chronic pain issues, neurological disorders, and developmental concerns. Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
- Must possess a valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is essential.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical for effective patient interactions and documentation.
- Proficiency in using technology, including word processing and electronic health record systems, is expected.
- The ability to form strong relationships with patients and maintain connections within the community is crucial, as we aim to provide holistic support beyond clinical treatment.
Preferred Experience
While two years of experience in physical therapy is mandatory, candidates with experience in specialized therapeutic practices, such as manual therapy or advanced exercise rehabilitation, will be given preference. Previous experience in community outreach programs or sports-related rehabilitation is also advantageous and will enhance your candidacy.
