Job Description We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and experienced Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a clean and organized service area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages according to recipes and standards.
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments when required.
- Operate espresso machines, coffee brewers, grinders, and other equipment safely.
- Maintain proper inventory and restock coffee, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies.
- Keep the coffee station, counters, equipment, and service areas clean and organized.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Handle customer questions and requests professionally.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Work efficiently as part of a team during busy service periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous barista or coffee shop experience preferred.
- Knowledge of espresso machines and beverage preparation is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when needed.
