2nd Shift Quality Inspector

The 2nd Shift Quality Inspector is responsible for performing inspection activities, documenting results, and communicating findings to Quality and Operations leadership. This role plays a key part in identifying nonconforming products, supporting investigations into process issues, and contributing to corrective and preventive actions.


This position requires accurate data entry, recordkeeping, and adherence to quality standards in a regulated manufacturing environment. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Perform product inspection using a variety of precision measurement tools and equipmentProperly set up parts, run established measurement programs, and interpret results (pass/fail)Inspection equipment includes, but is not limited to:
  • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
  • Vision systems (Keyence, Micro-Vu)
  • Optical comparators (standard and eCAD)
  • Micrometers, calipers, and drop indicators
  • Pull-force and hardness testers

Accurately complete and maintain quality records, logs, and reportsPerform data entry to support trending and performance monitoringConduct documentation review and dimensional verification of incoming materials

Qualifications


Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructionsBasic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft OfficeExperience with standard dimensional inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc.)Ability to operate advanced inspection equipment (e.g., CMM, vision systems)Working knowledge of:

  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles
