The Medical Aesthetician plays an integral role within the medical team, focusing on delivering advanced skin treatments and consultations to enhance client well-being and appearance. Reporting directly to the Clinic Manager, this role combines hands-on aesthetic procedures with client education, social media engagement, and effective appointment management in a clinical setting requiring strict adherence to sanitation and safety standards. A valid Florida Electrology license is essential to perform specialized treatments. The role involves using state-of-the-art laser equipment such as Alma Soprano Titanium, Hydrafacial, and Skinpen, alongside electronic health record (EHR) software and social media management tools. Occasional travel for training and opportunities for specialized certifications support professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform skin treatments including laser procedures, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and facial treatments
- Conduct thorough client consultations and skin analysis to customize treatment plans
- Recommend suitable skincare products aligned with client needs
- Maintain strict sanitation compliance and uphold clinic safety protocols
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate client records
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and aesthetic maintenance
- Create and manage social media content for advertising and client outreach
Required Qualifications
- Valid Electrology license (Florida license required)
- Proficiency in skin analysis and laser treatment operation
- Experience with chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facial treatments, hydrafacial, dermaplaning, microneedling, and dermabrasion
- Strong customer service and client consultation skills
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and time management
- Effective communication skills and social media proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in medical aesthetics
- State Electrology license
