This family-owned independent automotive repair shop is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join its team in Miami, FL. Serving the South Florida community for more than 60 years, the shop offers strong earning potential, a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, and a supportive environment where technicians are respected and encouraged to grow. Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and repair drivability and electrical concerns.
- Complete engine, suspension, steering, brake, and air conditioning repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance services.
- Inspect vehicles and recommend needed repairs.
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Assist and mentor less experienced technicians.
- Support future leadership opportunities, including growth into a Shop Foreman role.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience for B-Level technicians.
- Five or more years of experience preferred for advanced A-Level technicians.
- Strong diagnostic skills.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and drivability concerns.
- Ability to service Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
- Own professional tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- ASE Certifications preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude with a team-first mindset.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation
- Annual earning potential of $55,000-$120,000+.
- B-Level Technician earning potential: $55,000-$85,000+ annually.
- A-Level Technician earning potential: $75,000-$120,000+ annually.
- Guaranteed base pay of $17 per hour.
- Performance-based flat-rate compensation after the guaranteed base.
- Flat-rate earnings of approximately $38-$50 per flagged hour, based on experience and productivity.
- Expected production of 30-40+ billed hours per week.
