$32-$40/hour Full-Time Direct Hire Company Vehicle
Are you a Pipefitter/Welder Foreman who enjoys leading crews, building complex mechanical systems, and seeing projects through from start to finish?
KLS is looking for an experienced Pipefitter/Welder Foreman to lead commercial mechanical installation projects throughout the Richmond area. If you have experience overseeing pipefitters and welders, installing boiler systems, and can pass a weld test, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate pipefitters and welders on commercial mechanical projects
- Oversee installations from project kickoff through completion
- Install and weld piping systems for boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and other HVAC equipment
- Read blueprints, specifications, and submittals
- Ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Manage manpower, tools, and materials efficiently
- Perform pipe welding using SMAW (Stick), MIG, TIG, and other welding processes as required
- Mentor field personnel and help resolve installation challenges
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Pipefitter/Welder Foreman or Crew Leader
- Experience leading installation projects from start to finish
- Commercial boiler installation experience
- Ability to pass a pipe welding test
- Experience welding carbon steel and various piping systems
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- OSHA 30 preferred
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
