What You'll Do
Operate and set up bindery folding machines (Stahl, MBO, Heidelberg, or equivalent).
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep equipment running smoothly.
Inspect folded materials to ensure accuracy, alignment, and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues such as jams, misfeeds, or material defects.
Record production data, including output, material use, and downtime.
Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to ensure workflow efficiency.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED required.
1+ year experience operating folding or bindery equipment (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret job tickets, blueprints, and folding diagrams.
Knowledge of common fold types (parallel, accordion, gate, double parallel).
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Willing to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
Preferred Skills
Experience with additional bindery equipment (cutters, stitchers, collators).
