Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
Join our dynamic manufacturing facility as a Machine Operator , where you'll operate machines or sanitize machinery to ensure smooth production processes. You will work with equipment that puffs wheat, steams soy, and may also manage the mixer, sprayer, and clothing press to remove impurities. Occasionally, you'll be tasked with loading tankers for shipping final products and operating a sit-down forklift-no prior experience required, but it's a plus.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall system operation and product output.
- Operate machinery and equipment in the manufacturing process, ensuring production goals are met.
- Safely operate a forklift to transport raw materials and other items.
- Use electric hoists, forklifts, and other lifting devices to load materials on the line.
- Assist in the changeover of machinery for various sizes of product lines.
- Record and report various production data.
- Comply with all established system operation procedures, GMP/HACCP rules, and safety guidelines.
- Follow all departmental and company-wide food safety policies and procedures.
- Report actual or potential food safety concerns to upper management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and work within a team.
- Highly detail-oriented.
- Experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment is highly preferred.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear.
- Frequently required to reach above shoulders, climb, work at heights, crouch, stoop, or kneel.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds from floor to waist level, and lift 25 pounds repetitively at or above shoulder height.
- Capability to work under high temperature and high humidity for extended periods.

Work Environment
Join a small team of 16 people in a climate-controlled environment at a soy sauce manufacturing facility. Experience a family-like atmosphere in a well-established company. Available shifts include two openings at 6am-2:30pm and one opening at 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with little to no overtime.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $43680.00/yr.
