Position overview:
Must be able to mig & tig weld, read blueprints and read a tape measure to 1/32". Must double check all material prior to assembling for size and to make sure it meets the drawings requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
Communicate with all company personal
Locate and mark work piece bending and cutting lines, allowing for material thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and other component specifications
Layout reference points and patterns on materials according to component specifications
Align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars, and hammers
Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components
Operate forklift truck
Clean up your work area daily
Work and operate all equipment in a safe manor
Requirements:
Show up to work on time everyday
High School diploma or G.E.D.
Stay off your phone during working hours (phone calls, music, text ect.)
Formal welding training
Valid driver's license
Steel tip boots
Flame resistance work clothing
