Welder/fabricator versed in MIG and TIG welding and plasma cutting, specializing in custom auto parts manufacturing. Skilled in fitting tubing and welding stainless steel, building small custom parts, and modifying exhaust components within a small team environment. This role reports directly to the shop supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on various materials and components
- Execute TIG welding to achieve precise fabrication standards
- Operate plasma cutting equipment for accurate material shaping
- Fit tubing and weld stainless steel parts for custom assemblies
- Manufacture custom auto parts and small metal components
- Modify and repair exhaust system components as required
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of welding and fabrication experience
- Proficient in MIG welding techniques
- Skilled in TIG welding applications
- Experienced in plasma cutting operations
- Expertise in stainless steel fabrication
- Strong tube fitting capabilities
- Solid background in metal fabrication processes
