Job Summary:

The Tooling Clerk/Technician supports the Tooling Department by assisting with tooling organization, inventory management, and tool quality. This role works closely with Production and TTC to ensure tooling is properly maintained, tracked, and available to support manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform work as assigned by Supervisor

Maintain accurate tooling inventory and records using systems such as Microsoft Excel and IQMS

Check tooling in and out of inventory and ensure proper documentation

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

Verify tool quality by measuring materials and parts per standardized work instructions and company procedures

Push tooling carts and insert or replace tools on machines as needed

Support Production and TTC with tooling inventory needs

Operate and maintain Speroni/Pre-Set machinery

Identify and report mechanical, safety, or production issues to leadership, providing detailed updates as required

Comply with all safety rules, company policies, and employee regulations

Qualifications:

Required:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to follow standardized work instructions and safety guidelines

Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and measurement tools

Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors

Willingness to work overtime as needed and adapt to changing production demands

Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

High school diploma or GED required

Preferred:

Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required

Experience using Microsoft Excel and IQMS or willingness to learn

Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and chest-high when required.

Able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
