We are looking for a dependable and motivated Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but we value attitude, dependability, and a commitment to producing quality work above all else.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Set up, monitor, and adjust machines to ensure quality production.
- Inspect finished parts to verify they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and report equipment issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
- Accurately complete production records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
- Assist with other manufacturing and production-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new equipment and processes.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience.
- Experience with grinding equipment or grinding operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with measuring tools and quality inspection procedures.
Hours
Monday through Friday - 40 hours a week
Pay is $22.00 an hour based on experience - possibly depending on experience
