Performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures as appropriate.

What You?ll Champion:
- Provide outpatient care for cardiac surgery patients, including post-operative follow-up visits and long-term aortic surveillance management.
- Evaluate and manage surgical wounds, patient concerns, and ongoing cardiovascular care needs.
- Manage patient portal messages, results review, and care coordination through the inbox.
- Serve as an independent mid-level provider in clinic, occasionally as the sole APP on site.
- Ideal candidates will have cardiac surgery experience.
- Preferred schedule: Monday-Friday, with five 8-hour shifts.

Minimum Education:- Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
- Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
- Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred
Work Experience:Licenses:- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:- BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
- Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
- Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
