Machine Operator Lead

(Ft.Worth): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Machine Operator Lead to oversee daily production operations, supervise machine and equipment operators, and ensure a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing manufacturing personnel, and the ability to train and develop employees while maintaining operational excellence.

Essential Duties:

• Supervise daily machine and equipment operations to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.
• Manage employee timecards, attendance, and vacation records.
• Train, coach, and mentor employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Address employee concerns, resolve workplace issues, and promote a positive team environment.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed to support production activities.
• Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with management to improve processes and increase operational efficiency.

Requirements/Skills:

• Minimum of 6 months of supervisory experience in a machine or equipment operation environment.
• Experience managing employee timecards, attendance, and vacation records.
• Proven ability to train, coach, and lead production employees.
• Experience addressing employee concerns and resolving workplace issues professionally.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and overhead crane.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Basic math skills required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
