Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: 12-hour in-house day shift, no call. 7 days on / 7 days off (1-2 weeks per month). Immediate shifts needed: 8/6-8/9 and 9/10-9/15.
- Job Setting: 14-bed ICU + 12-bed CTU; Trauma Level 4 Facility
- Types of Cases: 8-14 patient encounters per shift. Procedures include intubation, arterial lines, central lines, and any procedures needed when covering ICU. Preferred skills include ventilation management (invasive and non-invasive), chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy (with BAL), evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, insertion of PA catheter, insertion of intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), temporary pacemaker placement, ICP evaluation and management, dialysis catheter placement, and diagnostic/therapeutic taps (lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis).
- Credentialing: Estimated 2-3 weeks. Due to the short timeframe, please only present candidates with availability to cover the above dates, clean malpractice and NPDB, and an active MO license.
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
- Certifications: ATLS required; Other certifications required (details to be confirmed)
- Licensure: Active Missouri (MO) license required
