Pay: $20.50/hour $21.50/hour for Bilingual English/Spanish Candidates

What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Specialist I, you'll serve as a key point of contact for our customers, providing support through inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and other communication channels. You'll play an important role in delivering a positive customer experience while helping customers navigate our products, services, and online systems.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Support
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and chat interactions.

  • Support customers across multiple workgroups and service areas.

  • Respond to inquiries accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies.

  • Research and resolve customer concerns to achieve positive outcomes.

  • Educate customers on available resources and self-service tools.

  • Assist customers with registration and navigation of EMPLOYERS' online systems.

  • Escalate or route inquiries to the appropriate department when necessary.

Administrative & Process Support
  • Accurately document customer interactions and account activity.

  • Process requests for forms, applications, and related services.

  • Follow established procedures, regulations, and state-specific requirements.

  • Ensure timely follow-up on customer communications.

Team & Quality Performance
  • Meet established performance, productivity, and quality standards.

  • Monitor customer trends and communicate insights to leadership.

  • Utilize internal resources and training opportunities to continuously improve knowledge and skills.

  • Support a collaborative, customer-first culture.

  • Occasional travel to other office or meeting locations

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum of 1 year of office experience in a call center environment.

  • Proven customer service experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Excellent phone etiquette and professionalism.

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet-based applications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-based call center ACD/CRM platforms.

  • Experience using Five9 telephony systems.

  • Insurance or Workers' Compensation industry knowledge.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.

  • Associate's Degree.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.



Compensation details: 20.5-21.5 Hourly Wage
