Job Description We are currently seeking a skilled maintenance tech to join our team in Clovis. A successful candidate will bring a strong mechanical and electrical background, excellent communication skills, eagerness to move into a higher-level position, and experience in a manufacturing plant. Entering and maintaining data in the CMMS related to assets, spare parts, BOMs, PMs, Work Orders, etc.Working closely with CMMS champions at other MITER plant locations to make sure the CMMS data is entered according to MIWD standards.Training others in the proper use of the CMMSCommunicate directly with OEMs to create suggested spare parts BOMs in CMMS system.Create PMs per the OEM suggestions and modify existing PMs as needed.Develop and maintain a library of OEM manuals, standard maintenance jobs, maintenance procedures.Tracking and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Ensure safety considerations are given top priority in all work order planning.Prepare and maintain a weekly maintenance schedule based on priority and resource availability.Work with production to schedule necessary downtime to execute maintenance schedule as required.Maintain an organized and relevant backlog of approved maintenance work orders.Creates part 'kits' and gathers special tools needed for work orders and PMs to increase direct wrench time of mechanics.Maintain the maintenance parts inventory to include routine cycle counts, parts check in, Receiver/Invoice reconciliation and ensure checkout procedures are being followed by authorized personnel.Purchase Maintenance parts and communicate with maintenance team regarding data in CMMS, parts required and inventory levels needed to complete all scheduled work orders and PMs. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Minimum diploma or equivalent, technical degree or certification helpful.3-5 years previous experience in industrial maintenance. CMMS, Parts & Inventory Experience preferred.General parts, electrical, welding, and mechanical equipment understanding.Experience with Total Productive Maintenance, CI or Lean practices preferred.Must be detail oriented and able to communicate clearly with management, personnel, and vendors.Proficient in MS word and excel, including computers and related software.
