Seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to provide high quality patient service within our Urology department in eastern coastal Maine.
Position Highlights:
- Conducts patient assessments, including history, exams, and diagnostic testing
- Manages common urologic conditions such as kidney stones, UTIs, incontinence, ED, and prostate disease
- Assists with procedures including cystoscopies, catheter placements, bladder scans, and urodynamics
- Provides pre- and post-operative care, patient education, and ongoing follow-up management
- Orders and documents care in the EMR, including notes, labs, medications, and treatment plans
- Collaborates closely with physicians and care teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Communicates with patients via in-person visits and secure messaging for follow-up and questions
- Supports quality initiatives, compliance standards, and patient safety across all care settings
