Position Overview: Seeking a dedicated and skilled Hepatologist to join our growing hepatology practice in Houstons Museum District. Our practice is affiliated with a major liver transplant program, offering a unique opportunity to participate in high-volume liver disease care, hospital-based hepatology services, endoscopic procedures, and clinical research. This position is ideal for a physician with a strong interest in liver disease management, transplant hepatology exposure, research participation, and providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities: Manage outpatient hepatology services for patients with liver disease, including comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and longitudinal follow-up. Participate in the inpatient liver service through our hospital affiliation, helping manage hospitalized patients with complex liver disease. Perform endoscopic procedures at our physician-owned endoscopy center. Collaborate with liver transplant teams in the evaluation and management of transplant candidates and recipients. Participate in clinical trials related to liver disease, with opportunities to contribute to ongoing research depending on experience and study requirements. Work alongside experienced advanced practice providers who support both clinic and hospital services. Contribute to the continued growth of hepatology services, patient care, education, and research within the practice. Qualifications: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Fellowship training or experience in Hepatology required. Transplant Hepatology fellowship training is encouraged but not required.
