We are seeking an energetic and driven Outside Sales Representative specializing in Construction to join our team. We are looking for long-term team members who want to grow with us. Initiative is a requirement for any successful sales representative; you must be self-motivated to be successful. All styles of sales are our style of sales, whether it be door-to-door, referrals, networking or self-generated leads. Your income reflects your effort.
Duties
- Generate new leads through door knocking, networking events, and industry research to expand the customer base
- Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, understanding client needs, and upselling relevant products and services
- Utilize CRM software such as Buildertrend to track sales activities, manage pipeline opportunities, and analyze market trends
- Setting appointments
- Estimate and Contract executions
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients to close deals effectively while ensuring profitability.
- Team work with internal and external members
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales within the construction or building materials industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge sales processes, including lead generation, account management, and direct sales strategies preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build rapport with clients and close deals confidently.
- Familiarity with CRM software platforms for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Knowledge of construction products, technical sales processes, and industry standards is a plus.
- Disciplined time management and ability to thrive with autonomy
- valid drivers license and transportation required
