Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Location: Cedarburg, WI 53012
Duration: Direct Hire
Pay rate: $22.00-$24.00 On W2
Shift: 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm (Monday- Friday)
Job Summary:
- CNC Machinists/Operator will operate, set up the CNC, lathes and horizontal and vertical machining.
Primary Job Duties:
- Operate assigned work center to current production and quality standards.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and work from verbal instructions.
- Learn applicable inspection / measurement equipment: micrometers, calipers etc. as required.
- Knowledge of various tools and equipment.
- Responsible for verification and documentation of part dimensions and tolerances as required for quality.
- Visually inspect parts for surface details and machining finishes with a close attention to detail.
- Knowledge of general shop math.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- Perform general upkeep and preventative maintenance on assign work center.
- Work safely and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 5 years machining experience
- Ability to do machine set-up
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Eagerness to learn is essential
- Detail oriented
