The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience navigating commercial litigation procedures, providing strong legal counsel and advocating effectively on behalf of clients in court. This position demands a diligent litigator capable of managing cases from inception through resolution with a strategic and analytical approach. Firm would consider a part-time.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Develop and implement litigation strategies tailored to each case
- Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding case status and legal options
- Manage case timelines and coordinate with remote teams
- Analyze complex legal issues and apply relevant laws and precedents
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial litigation
- Active admission to the New Jersey Bar
- Active admission to the New York Bar
