Sales Representative - Fragrance & Beauty

Location: Delray Beach, FL (5x a week in person)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Outside Sales Representative to identify, develop, and grow new business opportunities within the fragrance and beauty industry. This role will focus on opening and managing smaller retail accounts that are currently outside of our core customer base, including independent retailers, specialty stores, boutiques, gift shops, regional chains, and other emerging sales channels.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and closing new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new retail customers within assigned territories and channels.
  • Develop relationships with independent retailers, specialty beauty stores, gift shops, boutiques, and regional chains.
  • Present Trend Beauty's portfolio of branded fragrances and beauty products.
  • Conduct in-person sales visits, trade show meetings, and customer presentations.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional opportunities with customers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through order placement and account maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging retail opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in fragrance, beauty, cosmetics, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or retail sales.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and growing customer accounts.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
  • Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and business development activities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing relationships with independent retailers, beauty stores, gift shops, or regional retail chains.
  • Experience selling branded consumer products.
  • Knowledge of the fragrance and beauty industry.
