Talent Corps is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman for a local client in the La Porte area . Who services all types of facilities including port, civil, transportation, warehouses, treatment plants, and industrial manufacturing facilities.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman supervising crews of 4-10 electricians and apprentices
  • Proven experience managing projects with a value of $1,000,000 or greater
  • Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on electrical experience in:
    • Civil construction
    • Marine / port environments
    • Industrial projects
  • Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (required)
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (Spanish speaking abilities a definite plus).

Required Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Conduit installation
    • Wire pulling and terminations
    • Electrical distribution systems
    • Motors and motor controls
    • Lighting systems
    • Underground excavation and installations
  • Experience working with medium voltage systems (up to 35kV)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electrical systems

Required Leadership & Management Skills

Assist with layout and planning of electrical installations

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop electricians and apprentices

Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades

  • Ability to coordinate and schedule labor, materials, and equipment effectively
  • Strong project execution skills to ensure on-time and on-budget completion
  • Provide direction, training, and performance feedback to team members
  • Maintain a productive, team-oriented work environment

Monitor job progress and adjust plans as needed to meet schedules

Perform quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets standards

Manage material takeoffs and minimize waste

Identify and help resolve field issues and conflicts

Maintain accurate as-built documentation

Support project closeout activities, including punch lists
