We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a high-performing surgical team providing anesthesia services across a wide range of specialties. Position Overview
In this role, you will provide comprehensive anesthesia care including pre-operative assessment, intraoperative management, and post-anesthesia recovery support. You will work with a diverse surgical population and contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative care.
This position requires strong clinical judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to ensure patient comfort and optimal surgical conditions
- Perform airway management including endotracheal intubation and ventilation support
- Place IVs, arterial lines, and perform regional anesthesia techniques
- Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations including patient history, physical exams, and lab review
- Administer spinal and epidural anesthesia as required
- Provide anesthesia care across OB, orthopedic, pediatric, trauma, general, and outpatient surgery cases
- Monitor patient vitals continuously and respond to physiologic changes during surgery
- Maintain accurate anesthesia records and post-operative documentation
- Participate in quality assurance and peer review initiatives
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams in high-stress environments

Qualifications
Required Education & Certification
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Completion of accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
- Current CRNA certification (AANA / NBCRNA)
- Active Vermont RN and APRN licensure (unrestricted)
- DEA registration
Required Experience
- Comfortable practicing independently
- Experience with regional anesthesia and ultrasound-guided blocks preferred
- 1 5 years of CRNA experience preferred
Preferred Certifications
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association)
