Apollo Electric is looking to hire experienced Electrical Foreman in New York
Must be experienced electrical mechanic or foreman
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews on job sites
- Plan and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to ensure accurate execution
- Ensure proper installation of raceways, cable tray systems, lighting, outlets, and switchgear
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide technical guidance to resolve complex electrical issues
- Enforce compliance with National Electrical Code and Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets safety and performance standards
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to maintain project schedules
- Train, mentor, and support team members to promote skill development and productivity
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment across all job sites
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years experience working on residential/commercial electrical or other related fields
- Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Familiarity with Lighting control systems
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the ability to always follow safety protocols
- Highly organized and adept at managing multiple tasks concurrently
- Skilled at terminating and pulling wires into control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switchgear, receptacles, switches and/or raceways
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
