Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Journeyman Electrician to join our team for full-time, long-term industrial work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with travel and ready to work on job sites across multiple states. Expect to be away from home approximately 50% of the time, with all travel expenses and per diem covered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time and within scope
- Follow all company and job site safety protocols
- Accurately document work performed and report project progress
- Travel to project sites throughout the region, staying out of town as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (CT or ability to reciprocate)
- Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience
- Proficiency in conduit bending, motor controls, PLCs, and industrial equipment wiring
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Clean driving record and willingness to travel
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
Preferred:
- OSHA 10/30 certification
- Experience working in power plants, manufacturing facilities, or large-scale industrial environments
- Multi-state license or reciprocity knowledge is a plus
