Job Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, including postoperative patient rounds and note-taking
- Conduct follow-up clinics within the hospital setting
- Provide on-call coverage, including night shifts for emergent situations
- Collaborate with surgeons and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Board Certified
- Valid State License
- ACLS, BLS, DEA certifications required
- Recent and substantial cardiovascular surgical assist experience
- Endovascular vein harvesting (EVH) experience essential
- Clean malpractice history
- Self-query NPDB report is mandatory at presentation
Working Hours
- All shifts include 10 hours onsite from 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, followed by night call from 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Coverage includes holiday and weekend on-call duties, as scheduled
