- Role: Locum tenens CRNA - Operating Room (OR) coverage
- Shift Schedule: Saturday & Sunday only, 7:00am - 3:00pm (8-hour days)
- Shifts Per Week: 2
- Employment Type: Locum tenens (contract), 3 months with option to extend
- Start Date: July 27, 2026
- Electronic Medical Record: EPIC (Health Connect) - EPIC experience preferred
- No call responsibilities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
- Board Certified CRNA
- Active California CRNA license required (California nursing/anesthesia license)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Vaccination preferred; waivers considered
- OB anesthesia experience preferred but not required
- Typical credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days from application submission
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care in the Operating Room for general surgery and a variety of specialties including orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, urology, ophthalmology (vitrectomy, cataracts), and podiatry
- Deliver safe, evidence-based anesthesia care as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
- Work independently within a care team model; optional supervision available
- Document patient care and manage perioperative records using EPIC EMR
- No pediatric cases required during weekend shifts
