Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (CRNA) - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
Multiple CRNA positions available with cross-credentialing required across all locations
8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with required weeknight and weekend call coverage
Must be willing to share weeknight and weekend call (no nights or call at Sahuarita location)
Must hold an active Arizona license and be certified by the NBCRNA with at least one year of experience
ACLS and BLS required; ACLS and PALS must be AHA or American Red Cross certified
Must be comfortable practicing independently and performing peripheral nerve blocks
Case logs of blocks performed must be provided; training for blocks will not be provided
Must practice more than 90 miles from the facility
Cases covered include Endoscopy, General Surgery, Orthopedics, GYN Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Pulmonary/Bronchoscopy, Gastroenterology, Cardiac/Thoracic/Structural Heart, and OB (varies by location)
Required skills include General Anesthesia (adult), Ventilation Management, Complex Vascular Cases, Complex Orthopedic Cases, Spine Neurosurgical Cases, and Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues
Preferred skills include Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, Pain Management Techniques, Post-op Epidural, Post-op Extremity Blocks, Central Line Placement, Arterial Line Placement, and PA Catheter Placement
CRNA supervision is not required
Board certification required at minimum certification level
Approximately 5 patient encounters per shift with 4 ORs available
