Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room located in Golden, Colorado. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with the standards set by the state Board of Nursing. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role entails assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health education and counseling. The position supports supportive and restorative therapy and treatment, with opportunities to collaborate through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Variable shifts 12 hours; Weekends: Yes; Experience: 1+ years of experience; License: Single State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Required Qualifications: ASN Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor's degree of Nursing is preferred; Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS (American Heart Association) Certification; ACLS (American Heart Association) Certification; PALS (American Heart Association) Certification; TNCC Certification; ENPC Certification; NIHSS Certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Additional Information: The RN will provide health assessment, care, teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment planning, including delegation, supervision, patient referral, and documentation duties. The role may require floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, and being on-call during scheduled shifts.
