Job Description: Locums Opportunity - Breast Imaging Radiologist
Location: Lafayette, Louisiana.
Facility: Outpatient Breast Imaging Centers (Trauma Level II)
EMR: Epic
Availability & Schedule: - Start date: 08/03/2026
- End date: Ongoing
- Commitment: Full-time, several months minimum
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Setting: 100% onsite (no remote)
- Call: None
- Weekends: None
Requirements: - Board Certification: Required
- License: Active Louisiana license or IMLC accepted
- Fellowship: Breast Imaging Fellowship required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS required
Clinical Scope : - Screening and diagnostic mammograms
- Breast ultrasounds
- Stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies
- Breast MRI and MRI-guided biopsies
Volume & Workflow: - Patients per Shift: 40
- Diagnostics: 18 per day (with screenings mixed in)
- Procedures: A few biopsies per day (lower diagnostic volume on procedure days)
- Admissions: Required
