This locum Hematology/Oncology physician role is based in a community outpatient clinic, providing care for patients with cancer and blood disorders. The provider will manage an established patient panel, focusing on continuity of care in a supportive, low-procedure environment. The position offers a flexible weekday schedule with consistent monthly shifts.
Dates / Schedule - Shifts: shifts per month
- Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Days: Any 3 weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday preferred; flexible based on provider availability)
- Credentialing Timeframe: 3 months

- Patient Population: Adult hematology and oncology patients
- Patient Volume: patients per day
- EMR: EPIC, Beacon
- Support Staff: RN and Medical Assistant
- Reason for Coverage: Backfill for current locum
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage existing hematology and oncology patients
- Provide ongoing treatment oversight and follow-up care
- Coordinate care within the outpatient setting
- No procedures required
Required Skills & Qualifications - Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (required)
- Washington state license or IMLC (highly preferred)
- BLS certification (required)
- Clean malpractice history (highly preferred)
- NPDB Self-Query report (dated within 30 days) (required)
