Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia
Job Details:
Provide anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures in a Level 1 trauma center
Work under supervision managing adult patients and limited pediatric population
Handle general surgery, deep sedation/MAC, and neurosurgical cases
Manage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia
Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff including RNs, surgical technologists, and anesthesia technicians
Provide preoperative assessments and patient education
Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare team
Document patient care and anesthesia management accurately in Epic EMR
Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Work flexible day shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours with no on-call or weekend requirements
Must have current NBCRNA certification and BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
