Position: Production Control Manager
Location: Carroll County, GA
Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours; additional hours as needed to support plant operations
Pay: $100,000-$115,000 salary

Job Summary
We are hiring a Production Control Manager for a client in Bremen, GA supporting a high-volume automotive parts manufacturing and distribution operation. This role will oversee production control, planning, inventory flow, and cost performance across a fast-paced plant environment with plastic and metal components, helping ensure smooth operations, stable production output, and on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead the production control function in support of plant performance, output, and customer delivery requirements
Oversee daily production planning, scheduling, and sequencing across multiple departments
Manage inventory control processes, including cycle counts, system accuracy, audits, and physical inventory support
Monitor production flow and adjust planning activity to support changing business and operational demands
Drive improvements in delivery performance, schedule stability, and premium freight reduction
Partner cross-functionally with operations, shipping, receiving, procurement, and materials teams to maintain plant flow
Support short- and long-term manpower planning tied to production needs
Manage department-related labor, expense, and budget considerations
Lead process improvement initiatives that strengthen efficiency, material flow, and operational control
Support ERP-driven reporting, system troubleshooting, and data analysis tied to production control performance
Help maintain strong safety, training, and 5S standards within the department
Support broader warehousing and material flow strategy as the operation continues to grow
Must Haves
5+ years of experience in production control, production planning, supply chain, or materials leadership within manufacturing
Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments within automotive or heavy industrial operations
Proven background supporting high-mix production with Just-In-Time (JIT) or tight inventory requirements
Strong experience with production planning, scheduling, sequencing, and inventory control
ERP/MRP systems experience
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
Demonstrated success improving delivery performance, reducing premium freight, and stabilizing production flow
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Operations Management
Preferred Skills
Master's degree in a related field
Exposure to plastic injection molding, assembly, painting, or mixed-material production environments
Broader leadership experience across shipping, receiving, procurement, or material handling functions
Experience helping improve warehousing strategy or central material flow planning
