Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet output and quality goals
- Develop and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery
- Monitor production performance and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and staff
- Coordinate with other departments such as quality, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering
- Analyze production data and prepare reports on KPIs (efficiency, downtime, scrap, etc.)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.)
- Manage labor utilization, staffing levels, and workforce planning
- Oversee equipment maintenance coordination to minimize downtime
- Control production costs and meet budget targets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency with ERP systems and production tracking tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Work Environment

- Knowledge of OSHA and industry-specific compliance standards
