Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia
Job Details:
Work in a 180-bed hospital-based facility with 11 operating rooms
Provide anesthesia services for cardiovascular, vascular, neuro, general, ENT, urology, orthopedic, robotic, colorectal, podiatry, and plastic surgery cases
Cover out-of-department services including non-invasive cardiology, OB, endoscopy, and radiology (CT/MRI)
Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop comprehensive care plans
Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care
Monitor patients during procedures and manage anesthesia complications
Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
Maintain accurate documentation per hospital and regulatory standards
Handle approximately 35 surgical cases per day
Work 8 or 10-hour day shifts
Supervision ratio of 1 MDA to 4 CRNAs
Current RN license and NBCRNA certification required
Master's or Doctorate from accredited nurse anesthesia program required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or preferred
Accepting new graduates
Patient demographic includes minimal pediatrics, mostly adult and geriatric
Required procedures include general surgical cases, obstetrical cases, and neurosurgical cases
Additional procedures include arterial line insertion, IV insertions, and floor intubations
