As a Warehouse Forklift Operator, you will hand pick orders, operate a forklift to transport products within a warehouse environment, and complete other general labor activities. Weekly pay starting at $18.50/hr and great benefits available.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating stand-up forklift
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative and supportive environment
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift and walk throughout the warehouse
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality and attendance
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner
- Move product to storage area with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas
- Pick orders for shipment and assemble merchandise to be shipped
- Process orders including picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight
- Wrapping pallets, packing loading and shipment confirmation of customer orders
- Operate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Inspect products for defects, damages
- Arrange products in the warehouse to maximize space and accessibility, making it easier to locate items
