As a Director of Rehabilitation, you'll guide a dedicated team of therapists and support staff in delivering exceptional, patient-focused care. This role shapes innovative rehab programs, fosters collaboration with healthcare partners, and drives positive recovery outcomes-helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs tailored to the needs of individual patients.
  • Supervise and mentor rehabilitation staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and review patient care plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation services, making adjustments as necessary to improve patient outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Current, active, California license as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a therapy-related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in a post-acute, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation setting.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a rehabilitation department (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing rehabilitation services in California
  • Proficiency in therapy documentation systems and understanding of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop, implement, and oversee high-quality rehabilitation programs
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and interdisciplinary teamwork
