Job Details
THE ROLE -
You will serve as the primary point of accountability for the full lifecycle of commercial and industrial electrical projects. That means leading estimating, managing field execution, owning client relationships, and keeping costs and schedules on track.
RESPONSIBILITIES -
+ Manage day-to-day operations across assigned projects from pre-construction through closeout
+ Build and maintain construction schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera
+ Prepare complete labor and material cost estimates within set deadlines
+ Conduct field take-offs and constructability evaluations
+ Submit RFIs, coordinate submittals, and assist in preparation of change orders
+ Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and billing documentation
+ Monitor job costs against budgets and report regularly to management
+ Lead field walk-downs with clients, subcontractors, and construction personnel
+ Coordinate closely with project management and purchasing teams
+ Support field staff in tracking and understanding the basis of cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle
+ Participate in internal and external estimate review processes
QUALIFICATIONS -
Required:
+ 5-8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in specialty electrical construction
+ Demonstrated experience on commercial and industrial projects $20M and above
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered
+ Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid or equivalent)
+ Working knowledge of the NEC and relevant local codes
+ Ability to read civil, structural, mechanical, and architectural plans and specifications
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and/or Primavera
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
+ Experience on healthcare, aviation, transit, or large industrial facility projects
+ Background managing projects up to $200M+
+ Familiarity with transmission or substation work
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS -
+ Salary: $120,000-$170,000 per year, paid weekly, commensurate with experience
