Warehouse Worker/Order Picker

Don's Prepared Foods is the leading manufacturer on the East Coast of prepared gourmet deli salads, gourmet cream cheese spreads, dips, entrée's and more.

Don's is a family-owned business and manufactures over 130 products spanning across its three brands: Don's Salads, Melanie's Medleys and Artisan Deli.

Our Warehouse department is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join the team at our Schwenksville, PA food manufacturing plant.

This is an hourly, non-exempt position that typically starts at 6:30AM from Monday-Friday (no weekends!) with flexible end times according to production needs. Candidates who are dedicated, consistent, and organized with a warehouse background in a manufacturing environment are strongly encouraged to apply. Forklift experience preferred.

Job responsibilities:

Shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30AM.

This position works in a refrigerated warehouse for the full shift, temperature is about 34-36 degrees.

• Pack finished products into boxes
• Stack products on pallets
• Move product to inventory locations and rotate stock using pallet jack/forklift
• Pick customer orders with attention to expiration dates/item numbers of products to be picked
• Count items for inventory posting in ERP system
• Follow established procedures
• Adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
• Assist other areas of the Warehouse as needed

Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a cold environment (34-36 degrees)
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to use a pallet jack. Forklift experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
