Radiology - Breast Physician

We are seeking an experienced Breast Imaging Radiologist for a locums opportunity in downtown Columbia, South Carolina. This role offers the chance to work in a well-supported, high-quality imaging environment with a strong focus on women s health and breast care.

• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens

• Location: Downtown Columbia, SC

• Start: As soon as credentialed

• Coverage: Ongoing / block scheduling options available

• Practice Setting: Advanced breast imaging center with multidisciplinary collaboration

Typical responsibilities may include:

• Screening & diagnostic mammography

• Breast ultrasound

• Breast MRI interpretation

• Image-guided breast procedures (as applicable)

• Collaboration with surgery, oncology, and pathology teams

No general radiology required (breast imaging focused role)

• Modern breast imaging equipment

• Dedicated technologists and clinical support staff

• Efficient workflow designed for quality and accuracy

• Academic-style environment with strong clinical standards

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Radiology

• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred

• Active or eligible South Carolina medical license

• Comfortable working independently in a locums setting

• MQSA-qualified
