Salary: $145,000 - $175,000 per year

A bit about us:

Our client is an established, growth-oriented product design and engineering firm specializing in advanced electro-mechanical and electronics solutions for leading consumer brands. They are on a deliberate growth trajectory and are making a strategic leadership hire to help build the next chapter of their engineering organization.

This is not a typical job opening. The initial title is Director of Technical Accounts - a purposeful on-ramp designed to immerse you in the company's key customer relationships, product lines, and engineering culture. Within a defined timeframe, you will be promoted to Director of Engineering and step into full ownership of a cross-functional team that includes electrical engineers, firmware engineers, mechanical engineers, test technicians, and project managers.

Why join us?

Why This Role Stands Out:
  • Clear, Committed Promotion Path. The Director of Engineering title isn't a maybe - it's the plan. The initial title exists to set you up for success, not to delay your career.
  • Real Ownership. You won't be inheriting a rigid org with everything already decided. You'll have the authority and latitude to shape the engineering culture and build something lasting.
  • Interesting Work. Complex, high-stakes product development for name-brand customers in a demanding category. No two projects are the same.
  • Competitive Compensation. Strong base salary with performance bonus, structured to reflect both your entry role and your trajectory.
  • Stable Foundation. An established company with real customers, proven products, and the financial stability to invest in growing its engineering team the right way.

Key Perks:
  • Competitive salary
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Short- and long-term disability insurance
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) / Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Generous paid time off
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
