PRINCIPLE AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize revenue cycle operations and performance. -
- Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle management process, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable.
- Lead and mentor a team of revenue cycle professionals to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align revenue cycle strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
- Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for revenue enhancement.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to revenue cycle processes.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of revenue cycle operations.
- Develop and manage the revenue cycle budget, ensuring alignment with financial targets and objectives.
- Facilitate training and development programs to enhance the skill sets of revenue cycle staff.
- Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and streamline patient financial services. -
- Implement technology solutions to enhance revenue cycle processes and data management.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to identify long-term goals for the revenue cycle department.
- Report on revenue cycle performance to the executive team and other stakeholders.
Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of healthcare revenue cycle management and/or patient financial services role experience and minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related field.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct leadership of the assigned optical operations team members
- Partners with Human Resources to attract, recruit and retain top talent to support the mission and vision of the organization.
- Ensures the team has the necessary resources and support to continue to meet/exceed goals.
- Establishes current and long-term goals for team members.
