Overview: Pediatric Occupational Therapist - $75,000-$85,000 with $7,500 sign-on bonus

At HPRC - Pediatric Rehabilitation clinic location in Columbus, Georgia. You'll step into a role that goes far beyond traditional outpatient care. As part of a program affiliated with Easter Seals, you'll work in a fully integrated environment where therapy is embedded into a child's daily life. You'll collaborate side by side with Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists to support children with developmental delays and special needs while also treating outpatient pediatric patients from the local community. This is a rare opportunity to practice in one of the largest pediatric therapy settings in the region, where you can build meaningful relationships and see your impact in real time.

Columbus offers the energy of a growing city with a strong sense of community without congestion. Located near a major Army installation, the area provides a diverse patient population, outdoor recreation, and easy access to both the mountains and the coast.

How we support you:
  • Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, family building and parental benefits, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
  • A care model designed to support quality outcomes and efficiency.
  • AI clinical documentation support, built to significantly reduce after hours charting - so work stays at work.
  • Structured mentorship and career development.
  • Industry-leading continuing education through Evidence in Motion (EIM) including residency, fellowship, and board certification support.
  • Multiple career pathways: clinical excellence, hybrid roles, and leadership.
Responsibilities: You'll support an interdisciplinary team of providers and support pediatric patients in meeting their goals by:
  • Reviewing each child's medical and developmental history, including sensory, motor, and functional needs
  • Evaluating children through play-based observation and standardized assessments to understand fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, feeding, and participation challenges
  • Developing individualized, child-centered treatment plans that support functional independence at home, school, and in the community
  • Establishing clear, measurable goals focused on skills such as feeding, dressing, handwriting, regulation, and play
  • Using therapeutic activities, sensory integration strategies, adaptive equipment, and hands-on techniques to improve engagement, coordination, and daily living skills
  • Monitoring progress, documenting outcomes, and adjusting the plan of care to best support each child's growth and success
  • Educating and coaching parents and caregivers on strategies to carry over skills and support development outside of therapy
Qualifications:
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain licensure in the state of practice)
  • Passion for evidence-based, patient centered care
