This locum Hematology/Oncology Physician role is a full-time outpatient opportunity focused exclusively on hospital-based clinic care, with no inpatient duties or call responsibilities. The provider will manage a balanced caseload of oncology and hematology patients while working within a supportive clinical team using EPIC. This assignment is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible specialist seeking a short-term placement with predictable weekday scheduling.

- Credentialing Timeframe: days
- Assignment Duration: 2 4 months (up to 4 months)
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, full-time
- Setting: Hospital-based outpatient clinic only
- No call or inpatient responsibilities
Job Details / Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care in a clinic-based setting
- Manage approximately patients per day
- Patient mix: 60% Oncology, 40% Hematology
- Use EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
- Collaborate with support staff including care manager RN, medical assistants, and infusion nurses
- Coverage needed due to physician departure
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology highly preferred (Board Eligible accepted)
- Washington State medical license highly preferred; IMLC accepted
- Hematology/Oncology Fellowship required
- DEA certification required
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation required
- Ability to work independently in an outpatient oncology/hematology environment using EPIC EMR
