Locum Physician - Oncology in Greenville, SC
Join our dedicated team at a free-standing Cancer Center in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina! We are currently seeking a locum physician to provide coverage in Medical Oncology. This facility is committed to offering exceptional care to an adult and geriatric patient population in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in tumor board discussions.
- Manage bone marrow transplants.
- Oversee blood bank operations.
- Order necessary tests and images.
- Prescribe appropriate treatments.
- Coordinate with nurse oncologists for chemotherapy administration.
- See an average of 25 patients per day in an outpatient setting and manage 20 patients in a hospital setting.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology - REQUIRED
- Active South Carolina medical license - REQUIRED
- BLS and DEA certifications - REQUIRED
- Clean background required for Emergency temps - REQUIRED
- Availability for 4 weeks each month with 4 days of availability per week - REQUIRED
- A self-query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation (pulled within 30 days) - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology
- Active South Carolina medical license
- BLS and DEA certifications
