Qualifications (CRNA Requirements)
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA
  • NBCRNA certification required
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Proficiency in spinal anesthesia and arterial line insertion preferred
  • Experience supporting a wide variety of surgical cases (general, ortho, neuro, vascular, etc.)
  • Fellowship experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience a plus (Epic implementation begins October 31, 2026)
Responsibilities - Anesthesia Provider Duties
  • Provide safe, effective anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties: general, orthopedic, urology, ophthalmology, plastics, ENT, neurosurgery, vascular, podiatry, EP, endoscopy, bronch, and ECT
  • Manage Level 2 trauma cases and coordinate trauma anesthesia as needed
  • Perform regional, spinal, epidural, and thoracic anesthesia when indicated
  • Perform arterial line placement (preferred) and manage invasive monitoring
  • Manage airway, ventilation, and acute hemodynamic/volume issues
  • Supervise and collaborate with other CRNAs and OR staff as appropriate
  • Adhere to department policies for breaks, clocking in/out, and overtime approval
